This privacy policy explains how NANAKOROBI ("we") handles user information in the mobile application Casual Chess 3D ("the App"). Please read it before using the App.
1. Our approach
The App does not require an account or any form of sign-in. Your games and settings are stored only on your own device and are never transmitted to our servers — we do not operate a server or database for this App at all.
The App is free, and it shows advertising (Google AdMob) to remain so. Serving those ads may involve a third party (Google) collecting certain information. See section 4 for details.
2. Information stored on your device
The following is kept on your device only, and is never sent to us or to any third party.
- App settings: the difficulty you last chose, camera flip on turn change, whether move hints are shown, and similar preferences.
- Temporary game data: the current position, captured pieces, and anything you type into the in-game notes panel. This is kept only for the duration of that game and is cleared when a new game starts. It is not restored after you close the App.
All of this is removed from your device when you uninstall the App.
3. Device features and permissions
The App uses only the following device capability.
- Internet access: used solely to display advertising. Play itself requires no connection, and the App works offline.
The App does not access your contacts, device location (GPS), photo library, microphone, or camera. It also has no features that connect users to one another — there is no chat, no posting, and no online play.
4. Advertising
The App displays ads through Google AdMob. To deliver, optimise and protect that advertising, AdMob may automatically collect and use information such as:
- device identifiers, including the Advertising ID
- approximate location (derived from your IP address; the App does not use device GPS)
- device information and information about app usage
The App shows two ad formats.
- Interstitial ads: a full-screen ad shown at intervals when you start repeated games.
- Rewarded ads: a full-screen ad you choose to watch before using Undo. If you close it early, the move is not taken back and none of your Undo allowance is consumed.
Ads never cover the board while you are playing, and nothing you type into the notes panel is used for advertising. For how Google handles this information, please see:

You can opt out of ad personalisation or reset your advertising identifier from your device settings.

5. Deleting your data
Because the App has no accounts and we hold no user data on any server, there is nothing for us to delete on request. Settings stored on your device are removed when you uninstall the App. Your advertising identifier can be reset from your device settings, as described in section 4.
6. Children's privacy
The App is not designed primarily for children under 13. We do not collect personally identifiable information.
7. Disclosure to third parties
We do not collect personal information through the App, so we do not disclose any to third parties. Information related to advertising is handled under Google's policies, as described in section 4.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may change without prior notice as laws change or as features are added to the App. Significant changes will be announced on this page, and the revised policy takes effect once published here.
