This Privacy Policy explains how NANAKOROBI (“we”) handles user information in the mobile app “えらいポインター” / “잘했어 포인터” (Erai Pointer, for iOS and Android; the “App”). Please read this policy before using the App.
1. Our basic position
Everything you enter or record in the App — your records, the tasks you create, and your settings — is stored only on your own device. We cannot collect, transmit, or view this data, and it is never sent to any server of ours.
The App is offered free of charge and displays advertising (Google AdMob). To deliver those ads, a third party (Google) may collect certain information. See “4. Advertising” below.
2. Information stored on your device
The following is stored only on your device and is never sent to us or to any third party.
- Records and points: how many times you completed a task, and when.
- Task settings: the names, emoji, and daily limits of the tasks you create or edit.
- App settings: your choice of tone (casual or polite), your display language, and the times you set for reminder notifications.
- Character image: an image you choose from your device’s gallery. The selected image is copied into the App’s own storage area and is never sent off the device.
- Exported “keepsake” images: the image created when you tap “keepsake”. It is saved to your device’s photos (album “eraipointer”) and is never sent off the device.
All of this data is deleted from your device when you uninstall the App.
3. Device features and permissions
The App uses the following device features in order to work.
- Notifications (reminders): the App shows local notifications on your device at the times you choose. The content is generated on the device and is not sent anywhere. Showing notifications requires your permission.
- Choosing an image: when you change the character image, the App uses your device’s image picker. Only the image you select is copied into the App; the App does not read any of your other images.
- Saving to photos: only when you tap “keepsake” does the App save the image it created to your device’s photos (album “eraipointer”). It may ask for photo access in order to do so. The App does not read, change, or delete any of your existing photos.
- Sharing: only when you tap “share” after saving does the App hand the image to your operating system’s share sheet. You choose where it goes, and we never learn the destination or the content.
4. Advertising
The App displays advertising through Google AdMob. To deliver, optimize, and protect ads from fraud, AdMob may automatically obtain and use information such as:
- device identifiers such as the advertising identifier (Advertising ID / IDFA);
- approximate location (for example, derived from an IP address);
- device information and information about how the App is used.

You can opt out of ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier from your device settings.

5. Children’s privacy
The App is not designed primarily for children under 13 (under 14 in the Republic of Korea). We do not collect information that can identify an individual.
6. Disclosure to third parties
Because we do not collect personal information through the App, we do not provide personal information to third parties. Information related to advertising is handled according to Google’s policies, as described in “4. Advertising” above.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may change without prior notice as laws change or as features are added to the App. If there is a significant change, we will announce it on this page. The revised policy takes effect when it is posted here.
