These terms of use (the “terms”) set out the conditions for using the mobile app Scene Profile Book (the “app”), provided by NANAKOROBI (“we”). By using the app, you are taken to have agreed to these terms.
1. About the app
The app is for making profile cards, exporting them as images and sharing them. No account is required, and what you create is stored on your own device. For how information is handled, please see the privacy policy.
2. Cost
The app is free. To keep it free, it shows advertising. Any data charges are yours to pay.
3. Content you create
Rights in the text you enter and the images you set in the app belong to you or to their rightful owner. We do not acquire them, and they are never sent to our servers.
You are responsible for the content you create. Whether to hand a card to anyone, and to whom, is your decision. Once you have handed something over, we cannot retrieve or delete it.
4. Prohibited conduct
The following is prohibited when using the app.
- Anything that breaks the law or offends public order and morals
- Infringing anyone copyright, trade marks, likeness, privacy or other rights
- Entering or sharing information that identifies another person without their consent
- Impersonating another person, or defaming or insulting another person
- Decompiling, disassembling, analysing or modifying the app
- Interfering with the operation of the app, or damaging our reputation
5. Built-in assets
Rights in the templates, illustrations, stickers and other assets provided with the app belong to us or to their rightful owner. You may use those assets only as features of the app. You may not extract the assets themselves in order to redistribute or sell them.
You are welcome to share cards you made with the app freely, including by posting them on social media.
6. Disclaimers
- We do not warrant that the app is fit for any particular purpose of yours, nor that it will be free of defects.
- The app data is stored only on your device. If data is lost because your device breaks or is lost, because the app is deleted, or because of an OS update, we cannot restore it.
- We are not liable for loss arising from content you shared being reused or reposted by whoever received it.
- The advertising shown in the app, and any website a link on your card points to, are outside our control, and we are not responsible for their content.
7. Changes, suspension and discontinuation
We may change what the app does, or suspend or discontinue it. Where a change is significant, we will announce it in advance as far as we are able.
8. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms as needed. Updated terms take effect when they are published on this page. If you keep using the app after a change, you are taken to have agreed to the updated terms.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are interpreted under the law of Japan. If a dispute arises between us and a user in relation to the app, the courts of Japan shall have exclusive jurisdiction at first instance.
